Description:We are inviting all nurses and other health care professionals to participate in the Fourth Annual Convention of the Gerontology Nurses Association of the Philippines. Our theme for this year is: "OLDER WOMEN: THE VULNERABLE AND THE EMPOWERED". It will be held on August 16 and 17 at The Bayleaf Hotel, Manila.
Our convention will be graced by our keynote speaker, Dr. Shelley Ann F. de la Vega, director of the Institutes of Health Policy and Development from the National Institutes of Health. We will also be having series of lectures from various guest speakers, skills training on the assessment and care for the older persons, an exercise training, exhibit, and raffle draws.
With the rapid growth of the older population according to WHO and the US Census Bureau at this time, there is an increasing demand for the care of older persons. Be among the first to enhance your skills and knowledge in gerontology. Become a member of our organization!
Registration fee is P 2,500.00 for members and P 2, 800.00 for non-members. Payments are inclusive of convention ID and kit, certificate, raffle stub and two-day meals (AM snacks, lunch, PM snacks).
