Gone Girl Movie Review

Before watching this movie, I already read the book written by Gillian Flynn. I was amazed by how the author wrote an outstanding novel. It gave thrill on my spine and it became one of my favorite novels, so when I heard that they will do a movie version of this novel, I hurriedly went to a movie house to watch it with my boyfriend.
The movie starred by Ben Afleck and Rosamund Pike and directed by David Fincher. The story goes when Nick's (Ben Afleck) wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike) went missing. They thought that she was murdered and later on suspected Nick as a murderer. But as the story goes, Amy has faked her death, framing Nick as revenge for his infidelity. She has changed her appearance and is hiding in a distant campground, believing Nick will be convicted and executed for her murder. When her neighbors steal a stash of money, she calls her wealthy former boyfriend, Desi Collings (Harris), against whom she filed a restraining order. She killed Desi for her to be able to return home and claims Desi kidnapped and raped her, clearing Nick of suspicion. Amy tells Nick the truth, saying that the man she watched pleading for her return was the man she wants him to become again. Nick intends to leave Amy and expose her lies. Amy reveals she is pregnant, having used sperm Nick stored at a fertility clinic. Nick reacts violently, but he feels responsible for the child. Despite Margo's objections, Nick reluctantly decides to stay with Amy and they announce on television that they are expecting a baby together.

At first, the story goes so so, my boyfriend slept.haha. but at the middle of the story it became intense and he told me that he is afraid of someone like Amy.haha.

Rosamund Pike gave justice to the character. Actually, I also got scared. While Ben Afleck seems like a weakling and will suggest other actor for the role.

Overall rating for the movie is 8/10 and will recommend it to other movie goers out there.
Still prefer the novel rather than the movie.. :)

The Hunger Games Series: Can't Get Enough Of It!!

I am done reading the whole series of "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. I must say that this series really captured my heart and full attention reason why right now I can't move on to another book.haha. Actually I was so depressed that this series ended because I really want more. I want more stories about Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark!!

I think the best is "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" which is now showing here in the Philippines, Nationwide. I was so touched about the 80-year-old victor who sacrificed herself for the other victors. And the heartbreaking book among the three is "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay", It really broke my heart and I can't sleep because of what happened. It really shows that not all stories have a happy ending. Eventhough Katniss and Peeta got back to each other (which I really liked the most), their life is not that happy because many people whom they really cared about died because of the mission. I really want more of this so I really hope Suzanne Collins will write another book of the hunger games.

My rate in this very depressing series is: 9/10

BPI TRADE Here I Come!..

It's been days since I tried to enroll in BPI Trade under the influence of one of my colleagues. Eventhough some of informations led my mind to confusion regarding stocks exchange, my interest didn't fade. I heard this one before but because no one tried to teach me, I was left hanging with only just interest left spurting in my head.

I enrolled an account to bpitrade.com and printed the application for me to send it directly to any of BPI banks that is near my place. I was instructed by my colleague that I need to sign the application with the presence of the staff of the bank. I nervously submitted the application and signed what I need to sign and informed me that I need to wait 3-5 banking days for the approval. After 3 days of waiting I received the confirmation and I hurriedly logged-in to my approved BPI Trade account. As what I expected, as a newbie, I didn't understand what I saw but the e-mail said that I need to link it to my express online account for further transactions.

And now, I am waiting for another confirmation that will state that I can start what I need to start with my two accounts linked online.. :))

Review: IT TAKES A MAN AND A WOMAN

I already watched the movie of John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo's "It Takes A Man And A Woman", a sequel from their previous movies, "A Very Special Love" and " You Changed My Life". Actually, I watched this movie twice and still wanting more.hahaha. The first time I saw the trailer, I was excited and surprised. I promise you guys, it is worth to watch. PROMISE!. :)

The story goes when Miggy (John Lloyd) and Laida (Sarah Geronimo) parted ways due to some circumstances and thought that their love story ended and will never be fixed again until they found out how deep is the pain that caused them to know how they truly loved each other. And the rest of the movie is for you to watch out for.hahaha

Actually, I cried while watching the movie, yah I know, this movie has many funny scenes but I I really cried. The main characters did their job well. I really felt the pain they're feeling as if I am one of them. This movie will make you laugh and cry at the same time. It will make you believe on what true love really is.

If I'm gonna rate the movie, I'll give it a 10/10. This is one of the best Filipino movies I have ever watched. :)
